Scruffs Joins the Interwebs

Scruffy Murphy’s opened in 1993, when a young Irishman found himself in Waco and wanted to bring a little bit of Ireland to this strange and wonderful place.

Now, just 27 short years later, we finally learned what the internet is and made ourselves a website.

Why did it take us so long? Well, first, you’ve seen the bar. We can barely clean up after ourselves! Plus, we like to party. So, it takes us a while to do even the most basic stuff.

However, since the bar has been closed due to Covid-19, we’ve had some time on our hands. So, between shots of Fireball we made this website.

Why start a website? Well, we can’t sell booze right now, but we can sell our goofy shirts with curse words and unicorns on them, So that’s exactly what we’re gonna do. It also seems that the longer we’re closed due to the pandemic, the weirder the stuff is that we’re having made. seriously. as of August 2020, we now have swim trunks with Shorty and Scruffy dressed as presidents riding intoxicated sharks. Fanny packs are available. we have a Scruffs baby bib with scruffy as a baby. we didn’t put it on the site because we didn’t want to terrify any children but believe me, we have it. someone has to stop this madness.

If you want to help support Scruffs during this time, buy a shirt. Buy ten of them. Give them to your family. Send one to a friend. get a throw blanket. grab a new hoodie. Every single item we sell will help to ensure that this stupid little bar that we all love so much will still be here whenever we’re allowed to party again!

we miss you and love you all! stay safe out there and we can’t wait to see you again!
